Quality of life before and after total knee arthroplasty in clinical settings across Lahore, Pakistan

Knee osteoarthritis is a common disabling condition that affects a larger number of populations aged above 40 years and this habitually required knee arthroplasty to reinstate leg function, to improve the pain as well as to improve stability. The main objective of this study was to determine the health-related quality of lifestyle before and after total knee arthroplasty.

Eccentric versus concentric isotonic resistance training of quadriceps muscles for treatment of knee osteoarthritis

A total of 40 obese female patients with KOA (grade 2 and 3) and age between 40 to 60 years were randomized into 2 equal groups. The 1st group of 20 patients followed a physical therapy program of isotonic eccentric resistance training and the second group of 20 patients had physical therapy program of isotonic concentric resistance training for 8 weeks.

Causes and Risk Factors of Coccydynia in Postpartum Women in DHQ Sargodha

This was an observational cross-sectional study on 90 postpartum women from Maula Bakhsh DHQ Sargodha. Self-developed questionnaire was filled for data collection. Results: Highest percentages of coccydynia was found among age 30 and 35 ie 12.2%. Our study showed that out of the total population 68.9% women experienced coccydynia with C sections.
